Scarce, Early WW2 Type 99 Long rifle - with bringback form!

These were quickly replaced by the standard carbine length type 99, so relatively few were made in 1939-1940 (~38,000 as opposed ~3,500,00 of the short rifles).

Serial number is low at 911

Bluing is excellent save where the chrysanthemum was scrubbed upon surrender.

The bore is very good and chromed - as well as the bolt face

The bringback paperwork has the rifle's serial number and lists the bayonet as well.
