.32 Smith and Wesson model 1 1/2 2nd release

This seems to be in working order except the main spring (hammer spring) is missing. Spring retaining screw is present but it seems someone in the past deliberately removed the spring from the gun. Cylinder indexes as it should, Hammer moves freely, locks back, and releases as expected. Barrel lock works as it should, and everything moves without any undue play. From what I can glean from the web this dates to somewhere in the late 1860s or early 1870s. It is a .32 cal rim-fire.
